Personality
Usually quiet but always getting in trouble for things she never never done... mostly. Loves verbal conflict, hates physical contact. Logical and quite smart, using ever single time she can to show off her abilities, even with ADHD and dyslexia. She stands out from a crowd even when she is being quiet, labeled as a trouble maker from day one.
History

John was a detective in England, working on a late night case when he met Sadie's mother for the first and last time. He was knelt down on the carpet, taking a blood sample when a feminine hand came down on his shoulder, this was in a crime scene about half a mile from John's home. he loved to be in the buzz of crime. "Wouldn't it be easier if you just talked to the suspects instead of trying to be so smart?" The soft lull of the voice rang out and John turned his head to see one of the most beautiful... no, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. He gave a soft smile, a lot of people came to talk to him during crime scene investigations, but most he brushed off. "You know what? I think you are probably right there...?" He left the gap for her name. "You can just call me Alto." She told him as he stood up, running a hand though his darkened hair. "And why are you here Alto?" He asked the beautiful woman, suspiciousness flooding into him like a storm after calm. "I am a detective, like you." She said and took a badge from her bag, showing it to him. He scanned his eyes over it with a small smile. "Okay then Alto, let's go solve a crime." So that was how their relationship bloomed, after a long night of interrogation, they headed back to John's home for some food and a talk. a lot more ended up happening.

Alice Sadie Scarlett Hunter Alexander was born on a rainy night in mid December, red cheeks and with brilliant grey eyes, as well as one black curl falling in the center of her forehead . When she was delivered to John's house, he thought she was adorable, and John loved her from the second he saw her. She was all the family he had, all the family he would ever have. and He would protect her to the end of the earth.

-3 Years Later- Sadie padded around the living room, still getting used to actually walking. She was very slow when it came to walking or getting on with other children. It had taken her 2 and a half years to finally get onto her feet and start walking around the room. But talking was one thing she had no problem with. She padded over to her father and held her arms up, asking the same question as the last night, and the night before that, and the night before that, practically ever since she could talk, She was asking this question. "daddy? what happened to mummy?" She asked, looking into her father's blue eyes. He answered with the same thing as last night. "I wish I knew sweetheart." and pressed a kiss on her cheek.

-2 Years Later- A five year old Alice Sadie Scarlett Hunter Alexander rushed around her bedroom, a giggle bubbling at her lips. The babysitter had given her a taste of full sugared coke and, mixed with her ADHD, she was practically jumping off the walls with sugar running though her veins. Daddy was working late with his new boyfriend. She wrinkled her nose, he had an odd name that didn't sound right. But she put up with him because his daddy loved him so much. His name was Sherrinford. John came home late with a sigh, he and his boyfriend were in another fight, but he had to keep it together because Sadie loved Sherrinford so much. She already didn't have a mother, he didn't want to take something else she loved from her. Then she bounded down and into her father's arms, grey eyes sparkling with sugar shock. "Daddy! Casie gave me this really nice drink!" She giggled and hugged onto him tightly as he lifted her up and into his arms. "Oh my darling girl... what are we going to do with you?" He cooed as the sugar started to crash. "Just go to sleep honey...." He cooed calmly.

-5 Years Later- Sadie stood in the mirror as her father fixed her black curls so they fell around her face. It was a disco, an annoying, over hyped pre-teen disco for all the year 6's going into year 7. Why her father was making her go, she had little to no idea. Something about bonding with her next classmates. She had laughed at that. She probably was just making enemies going tonight. But still she let her father comb her hair (She had warned him not too as it got frizzy.) and pick out a light blue dress for her. It was 5 pm when the disco started, and she knew it was going to drag when she arrived. All the girls were dancing together, laughing and hyped on sugar, while the boys stayed on the basketball court, just shooting hoops. Sadie didn't fit into either of these two groups, and she knew she never would. So she slunk off to a dark corner and sat in an over plush chair. "Sometimes I wish I was actually normal." She sighed and stared off into the distance. She was so out of it that she didn't notice the fist travelling towards her face until it already collided, smashing her head against the wall to the chorus of both girls and boys laughing and some yelling 'Freak!' over one another. Soon the whole room was chanting the single word as Sadie pushed herself to her feet, grey eyes full of tears and hands shaking from her overactive ADHD. She knew who had punched her, a boy, Kelvin or something stupid like that. He had always hated her after she had seen him getting picked on by his older brothers and his mates. but she wouldn't tell anyone. Unlike the time he had seen her having to eat lunch in a hallway as she had no place in the cafeteria. She glared at him and tried to push through the crowd, but to no avail... An hour. An hour was how long it took to notice that Sadie was getting beaten up. The teachers knew that everyone treated her as different, she wasn't liked very well, but she didn't think they would go this far. When the crowd was finally pulled apart the crowd, Sadie was lying on the floor, blood tattering her dress and face. She had passed out, probably from pain but the children hadn't stopped.... She was rushed to the hospital, and the medics said it was magical she was still alive, she had major trauma to the head, a broken arm and a lot of broken ribs. John swore to keep his daughter safe if it was the last thing he did.

-3 Years later- It wasn't the first time Sadie was kicked out of a school, but this was the first one that made a difference. She was never really a rule follower, She refused to wear proper school uniform, always having her coat and trainers on. "You never know when you would need to run." would be her defense. She was short, but really skinny. She didn't get on with other children well, always correcting how they spoke or their work, and this was even worse with teachers. She would pick fights with teachers just for the fun of not having to be taught by an idiot. So they had been moving around a lot to find a school that would satisfy Sadie's odd needs. Most schools looked past her troubled past as she had terrible ADHD and dyslexia, so they usually would be willing to give Sadie a chance. But when they saw her face, they had known they had made a bad choice. She just had one of those faces that no one trusted, that always seemed to be planning something. Her first lesson of the new school was chemistry, actually one that she liked and she needed to try, if she didn't, it would mean a boarding school in America which Sherrinford insisted on. Sadie rolled her eyes at that, he still called her Alice. She really did hate him...but things went down hill straight away.

She was taken by the headmistress to said lesson, hand on her shoulder. She had been allowed to get away with her unusual dress sense as she said they didn't have time to get the right stuff. They had given her a week to get this sorted. "Go on Alice, say hello to your classmates." Mrs. Mann pushed her forward in front of the class, Sadie shot her a glare. "My Name is Alice Sadie Scarlett Hunter Alexander. But to the small majority of you that aren't idiots, I prefer Sadie." She noted as she went over and sat down in a seat beside a boy, getting a notepad from her book and opening the page, doodling straight away. Maybe if she had paid attention to what the teacher was droning on about, maybe if she had gotten a different lab partner, then maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't have blown up the chemistry room. Straight away she was kicked out and sent straight home. there was no way she could have survived a month there, she couldn't even make it though an hour.

So she was sitting on her bed when her dad came home, angry as hell at least Sherrinford was in Kansas or somewhere dealing with a family crisis, that would have gotten ugly then. "ALICE SADIE SCARLETT HUNTER ALEXANDER!" He yelled up the stairs, "Get down here right now and explain!" Sadie wiped the tears from her face and placed a emotionless mask over her expressions. "Yes father?" She asked as she started down the stairs, his hands were in fists by his sides, blue eyes smoldering. Oh no. "Do not use that voice with me Alice. Sit down, explain what happened and then you will be packing. You are 13, you shouldn't be this childish anymore." He said and pointed to the sofa.

Sadie did what was asked and sat down on the seat, hands tightened into fists in front of her. "My lab partner passed me the wrong solution, you know I wouldn't have done it on that on purpose, even I am not that dumb father." She explained, trying to stop the tears that were threatening, but to no avail. John came up to her and hugged her tightly. "Let's go get you packed okay? then we will go out for dinner before you need to get on the boat over there." -Two hours later.-

Sadie and John were sitting in a diner, Sadie's fully packed suitcase by her side. John didn't want her to go, but it was this or a hospital school. and She would resent him if he had sent her there. "What are you thinking of having?" John asked his daughter who was growing up far to quickly for his liking . "Not hungry." Was Sadie's sullen reply. She didn't want to be leaving her father. No more late night cases, no more movie nights at home, no more daddy and Sadie against the world. that was when all Hades broke loose

she was frozen in fear at the big creature.... half bull, half man lumber into the restaurant, probably after the silver donned girl that had entered a moments after it. She felt John lift her, but she suddenly squirmed out of his grasp as she saw a bunch of silver girls enter the room, donned with bows. "dad, go!" Sadie told her father who was still trying to get her out. The silver girls needed her though, they were loosing against this creature. Sadie spotted a dagger one of the girls had dropped, and she ran forward, scooping it up in her hand, coat trail billowing out behind her as she kicked off the table and dove the dagger into the creatures back, but she knew that she probably should have told the silver girls what she was doing as an arrow buried itself into her stomach, and as the monster turned into dust, she fell into unconsciousness.

-Two months later- Sadie blinked as she started to push herself up, but felt a tight twist in her stomach, making her wince. "ow..." She grumbled and looked around. She was in a tent like thing, donned in silver clothing like the girls she had saved... yesterday? no. it was far too cold to still be October. She got off the camp bed she had awoken on, feeling terribly weak. She really did wonder where she was. She poked her head out of the tent flap and saw 6 silver tents all set up in a semi circle, and a bunch of girls were sitting around a fire and white wolves standing guard around the edges. "Hello?" Sadie asked and the girl's heads all turned towards her. One of them got up, she was about 12 years old with long ginger hair and silver eyes. "Ah, miss. Alexander. how are you? did you sleep well?" She asked in a voice too old for her body. Sadie took a gulp of air. "How long have I been sleeping for?"

She could see the girl visibly wince. "Two months. We took care of you as you managed to save our recruits from death, and it was someone's fault that you fell into the sleep." "oh." was Sadie's intelligent reply.

"But Sadie, we would like you to join the hunters of Artemis. You are a strong willed fighter a-" "wait, hunters of Artemis, like... sworn off boys?" She let out a laugh. "who is messing with me?" "No one Sadie. You are a demi god, half human, half god. I am Artemis, and these are my hunters." The ginger girl finished. "no..." Sadie shook her head, turning away, her logics kicked in and she turned back onto the girl that caused herself Artemis. "Where is my father? and where are we?" "We are near long island in America. Your father returned back home after we took responsibility for you." Artemis reassured me.

"I... I don't think I want to be a hunter. not yet anyway, I'd like to see if I can fall in love before swearing off it for my whole life." Sadie nodded and Artemis smiled, getting the dagger that Sadie had used to kill the beast out and offering it to her. "I shall come back in a year to see if you have changed your mind... oh, and Sadie, happy birthday." She said as Sadie took the blade, "But... where am I going?" She asked, staring at the goddess in front of her with wide grey eyes. Artemis smiled and put a hand on her arm. "Just over that hill there, it is called camp half-blood. You will be safe to train until you want to join or go back when you are deemed skilled enough to leave." Sadie gave nod and started up the hill, being led by one of the nice hunters. The hunter turned to her and looked at her. "we are serious about you joining us. Without you, someone could have died..." She explained and took a long sword off her back. "Keep this, you probably will be able to keep more enemies at bay if you do." Sadie gave a soft smile and took the sword, which was pretty well balanced in her hand and nodded to the girl. "Thank you." She told her as she entered the camp, but a bad thought kept nagging at her head. What if she never saw Dad again?

Powers

As she is a daughter of Tyche, her powers focus on luck and foreseeing the upcoming moves of enemies and allies, even the result of gambling. Aside from these powers, she uses her big hammer to smash opponents to ground and slam them into the air.

Offensive[]

  1. Children of Tyche are able to bless a weapon with a “lucky” shot so that the next attack has a 95% chance of striking the target. This power cannot be used to launch fatal or severe blows, it can only be used twice in a fight.
  2. Children of Tyche can enhance their bodies with success and prosperity, enhancing their physical strength and speed for a short time.

Defensive[]

  1. Children of Tyche have the minor ability to foresee the action of others, such as the course of action an opponent will take when attacking and dodge or parry accordingly; however, if the prediction is wrong, this may cost the child of Tyche dearly.
  2. Children of Tyche are able to curse a weapon with misfortune so that the next 3 attacks with it will not strike its target. This can only be used once in a fight.

Passive[]

  1. Children of Tyche emit a lucky aura, so everyone around them will be slightly luckier. They can shut it off for a long time if they wish.
  2. Children of Tyche are able to see all the possible outcomes of any situation, whether it be a gamble, battle or even nearing dangers, in order to react with the best tactic and reach the best conclusion. They can figure out any chance of success, and even if the odds are overwhelming, they are still able to perceive and understand any cause and effect relation regarding the situation. As such, they make better strategists.

Supplementary[]

  1. Children of Tyche are able to bless an object, making it into a “lucky” charm, that they can either keep for themselves or give to someone else, the object when used can bless the user with one shot of extra luck that will land. This can not be used to severely harm others, and can only be used once in a fight.
  2. Children of Tyche can cause someone to hallucinate about their impending doom and bad luck, distracting them momentarily from the task at hand. This allows the user to attack or flee freely. The intensity of the hallucination can be augmented but drains more energy.
  3. During battle, children of Tyche are able to utilize their life-force and use it as an aura of luck over their allies. The aura protects the child's allies for a short period of time, and can be used on groups of up to ten demigods. the more allies the child protects, the weaker the luck aura will be. The use of the power is severely draining and while in use the user is completely incapacitated. The allies are able to move and attack freely under the barriers, depending on the strength of the barrier their attacks will be stronger/more likely to land and it’ll be easier to avoid attacks.
  4. Children of Tyche can jinx an opponent, making their luck so bad that they’d constantly trip on their two feet, drop their weapons, get dust in their eyes etc. The jinx only lasts for a short time and leaves the opponent vulnerable to an attack or gives the user a chance to flee.

3 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Tyche can turn their surrounding area into either a bliss zone, terror zone or a black box. The area will be a 10-meter radius with the user’s location as the center. In a bliss zone, everything good that can happen will happen. In a terror zone, everything bad that can happen will happen. And in a black box, outcomes of actions will be wild and unpredictable. Ex: an animal could run in and interfere with an attack. Someone getting hurt in one of the zones will count as good or bad, depending on how much damage they’ve taken/given beforehand. An injured character getting hurt more counts as bad and an uninjured character getting hurt counts as good. This will not ensure permanent or lethal damage. The zone only lasts for a moderate amount of time before fading away. This power can only be used once in a fight.

6 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Tyche are able to induce terrible luck on a target for a short time, an enhancement of Supplementary 4. The probability of terrible things happening to them drastically increases. They could be in the epicenter of a mild earthquake, powerful storm or even in the destination of a meteorite shower etc. The user must ensure they’re a safe distance when creating the curse and thus can curse someone from up to a 20-meter distance. The curse cannot be used to instantly murder someone and the user is substantially drained once it ends.

9 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Tyche are able to make themselves so lucky for a short time, it will enhance their abilities. In this state, the user will be so lucky, all attacks aimed towards them would fail. Their physical prowess substantially increases and all their attacks have an 85% chance of success. Once the luck enhancement subsides, the user will be so drained they won’t be able to move and could possibly faint.

Traits[]

  1. Children of Tyche are generally very lucky in all that they do.
  2. Children of Tyche are typically adept at playing games of chance.
  3. Children of Tyche normally see the luck of any person, whether they’re incredibly fortunate or plagued with terrible luck. They can also see different possible fates of others when idle, but the child will have no idea which one shall come to pass. Ex: They’d be able to see a person’s possible future of where they become a famous celebrity and another one where they’re a homeless vagrant.
