Geryon is the son of Chrysaor and Callirrhoe and is the grandson of Medusa. He was a fearsome giant who dwelt on the island Erytheia of the mythic Hesperides in the far west of the Mediterranean. A more literal-minded later generation of Greeks associated the region with Tartessos in southern Iberia.
Geryon is a wild beast with 3 torsos rising from his stocky, stone-like legs. He has 3 heads, which all bear very scary and horrific faces. He is tall and he is strong, usually carrying with him a club or a similar weapon of that sort. He has big feet, sort of like boulders, to finish off his body.
This monster will easily slaughter a group of demigods less than 6. Don't attempt to fight it without having at least 6 or more demigods.
Being a monster, Geryon is very hard to kill unless facing Celestial Bronze, Imperial Gold, or Stygian Iron. Even with these metals, his ability to regenerate allows him to tire out his opposition instead of fighting them head on. Because Geryon has three torsos, he also has three hearts which means he can not be defeated unless all three of his hearts are destroyed at the same time. Destroying one or even two at a time will weaken Geryon, but he will reform within moments. However without this ability, he isn't very strong and can be easily defeated.
It will take about a hundred years for him to reform. With this amount of time spent reforming, he doesn't pose a threat for a while once a tactic to kill him is found and used.
Geryon has many tactics to kill, and many lives to use. With his 3 hearts, he can heal quickly as well as reform and mend major wounds over time, which makes him the most of the threat that he is. He can both fight with his club and with projectiles, both of which he is proficient in. he also lets his opponents tire out before fully attacking them, using his power to regenerate to his ultimate advantage.
