The Quest to Rescue the Lightning Dreamer

  • Camp: Haze assembles the Questors.
  • New Athens: The Questors meet Sandra.
  • Road to New Athens: The Questors are guided through the last few places Emilio had been seen in. They encounter a few monsters.
  • The bus station: The Questors take a bus to New Orleans, after they receive a call from the mysterious man and his phone is tracked there.
  • New Orleans: The Questors meet more monsters, before encountering the mysterious man and discover his identity. They rescue Emilio.
  • The bus station: The Questors and Emilio go back to Long Island.
  • Camp: The Questors give Sandra a tour through Camp and she bonds with Haze.

The following message took place during a dream:

Dear Haze,

You have become the person your brother trusts the most at Camp, and now he has disappeared. It’s time for you to honor that trust, to repay him. You must make sure he knows you trust him too, and that he was not wrong trusting you. Please find him and bring him back alive. I love you both.

• End game: The battle with the Cyclops leads to an abandoned warehouse where a mysterious man is holding Emilio hostage. Turns out the man had seen through the mist, had known of Emilio’s goodly heritage and planned to use him, along with around 12 more kidnapped demigods as guinea pigs for his experiments. After discovering the identity of the man, and freeing Emilio, they return to Camp.

Quest

• Haze: Haze honestly cringed at her father saying the three cursed words in her dream, but she was more worried about Emilio’s safety. For this quest, the daughter of Zeus was not going to make the same mistakes again. She wore a an all black outfit and travelled light — with a few clothing changes, snacks, and travel documents. Black made it harder to see dirt. The other essentials could be received in their AirBnb or local convenient store. At present, she sent a text message to Jasper, who she invited in training, and Herni, who was invited by her local dealer. While waiting for the rest to come over, she went over the details of the quest again. She wasn't familiar with Genevieve, but Haze felt like she'd like her as well.
• OOC (Emi): What three cursed words?
• Genny: Genny was easily one of the two people most concerned of Emilio’s well-being, alongside Haze. They had known each other for a few summers, and they had been good friends, even when not at camp. She knew Haze and Emilio were close, so it was logical that Haze contacted her first of all people to help Emilio, and that Zeus contacted Haze in her dream. She was convinced that Jasper and Henri couldn’t care less for Emilio’s well-being and that they only decided to come out of obligation. She was wearing a cute outfit, with knee-high boots, a red sweater and a black skirt. She arrived to where Haze was standing, as the daughter of Zeus reviewed the details of the quest. She wasn’t familiar with her either, but she knew they could be great friends, especially with their friend in common.
• Henri: As Henri was making his way to the place to meet up and eating honey, to be honest the only reason he is doing is because he need the experience and because Xavier invited him to it.  He didn't really know anyone in the quest but was happy to meet them, he was jsut wearing his usual outfit  with his black and white pants and bear like sweater and his sneakers, as he arrived he saw Haze and Genny reviewing the quest so he just decided to say "Hello there everyone the son of the Great Tyche is here no need to worry this should be easy with me in the team." he said in confident.
• Jasper: Jasper Meng head to the quest group with a energized mood. His brown two block cut is currently styled for the day and his person sporting a simple camp t-shirt and shorts for the trip. At his shoulders hung a backpack full necessary things for a demigod. He smiled politely at the currently arrived members and said his greeting. "Hi, I'm Meng JunYao, but you can call me Jasper," the teenager greeted. "Son of Zeus. I've already met Haze."
• OOC (Broken): It's ILY. Also, can we agree to allow one skip post? For example, we can skip a character's turn once, but by the second round, they need to post? It's usually done to speed things up, since most quests don't finish.
• Haze: She chuckled at Henri's remark. She then introduced him. "Nice to meet you in flesh then, Henri. We always need a lil bit of luck on our side, that's for sure." Haze then turned to Genny to introduce herself. "I'm Haze. Jasper and I are Emi's siblings. Could you brief us on how we're getting this done?" While Haze was given the dream, Genny was more informed about Emilio's schedule and last whereabouts. Thus, she sought the leader's expertise.
• Genny: Genny gave Henri an “are you serious?” kind of look, having just heard his words of ego. “Nice to meet you, Jasper”, she looked at him. She knew Haze trusted her to lead the quest, but she wasn’t even sure on how this would go. “Well, I believe I was the last person to ever hear from him, right?”, she asked. “What we know is that he hasn’t been seen in camp’s premises for three nights, and that the last Haze heard of him was that he was going to visit his mum in New Athens”, she explained. “I have information to prove that is true. However, I have reasons believe I was the last person to hear of him, as I received a text message saying he was about to leave his mum’s house.”
• OOC (Emi): Are you serious? *chuckles* Also, I agree on that idea, the one skip post. I don’t intend on leaving this inactive without finishing it, but I still agree on it. It’s a nice way of speeding this up.
• Henri: As Henri received the "are you serious" made him start thinking that Genny didn't have a goof first imperssion of him but he didn't really care as most people don't. As he listened to Genny of the child of Zeus last whereabouts he said "So we should start form his mum houes and move on form there right."
• Haze: "Yeah, we should." She agreed with the teenager. "You know the directions, right?" She asked Genny. After all, Haze didn't. "Lead the way, and let's start from there." There were two entrances to New Athens - one direct way from camp, and another from the mortal world. Since they already checked the forest, it would be best to enter through the mortal entrance.
• Genny: ”I agree”, she said to Henri and Haze. “Yes, I do know the directions.” She didn’t want to admit it, but she’s been to Sandra’s home a few times. She led the way, and they headed to the mortal entrance to the Golden City. Once they had entered the Golden City (and all four passed the Themis test), Genny started to lead the way to Sandra’s house.
• Jasper: "So what kind of person is this guy we're trying to find?" Jasper ask the group. "He seems pretty impressive that Zeus' willing to ask a demigod to go find."
• Haze: "He's our half-brother," she told Jasper. "I think that should be enough. However, with consideration to the divine interference rule, I'm rather surprised father's willing to break a few laws. Maybe there's something else." Haze walked alongside the other questers, hoping to see what Emilio's home looked like.
• Genny: “To be honest, I was quite surprised that these laws were broken”, she explained. “I mean, he’s an amazing friend, but I don’t know what the big cheese is thinking. Either he grew tired of his laws, or maybe Emilio’s fated to do some things we’re unaware of. Or maybe, what if he’s not the only one?”
• Henri:"I guess it's better not to question the gods after all they must have an important reason, that or he truely loves this Emillo person" he said to the others.
• Jasper: "Zeus doesn't sound like much of a loving father though. The ones he does all eventually became gods," Jasper said. "He seems to busy running away from Hera for, what do we call back home? Putting a green hat on her to care."
• Genny: She didn’t understand what the green hat thing meant, but she disagreed. “I mean, maybe he IS a loving father after all, and we’re just misjudging him. I mean, that’s what Haze’s Dream makes me think.”
• Henri: "I guess he's your father it's none of my business that's more of a family matter all I want is to get this quest done." 
• Haze: The daughter of Zeus understood Meng’s intentions. In China, wearing a green hat means a woman was cheating on her husband. It came from a ancient tradition where prostitutes wore green hats. She smirked but refused to comment, as the Queen of Olympus is a formidable enemy - not be angered. She then broke off the discussion. “Alright. We should stop debating about whether or not father cares, lest we get struck down by lightning ourselves. Let’s just thank heavens he gave a shit about Emilio and move on, friends.” Normally, she would like to engage in banter, but Haze was more worried about the state of Emilio. Every minute counted. For Zeus to call them, it meant serious business. Once they reach the area, hopefully the place would be more heavily described, so they can find clues to Emi’s whereabouts.
• Jasper: "So then what's our next stop? And I hope we don't meet any monster too soon," Jasper said. Monster makes thing much less efficient, he hopes to do this quest with as little causalities as possible.
• Genny: “Our next stop”, she explained, “is just around the corner. We’re almost at her doorstep.” Eventually, they arrived to Sandra’s house, and Genny knocked the door.
• A middle-aged woman opened with a smile. “Hello Genny”, she said. “I see you brought some friends! Who might you all be?”, she asked curiously. She wondered why they came to her house with no previous phone call or anything.
• Jasper: Jasper look at the woman curiously, not sure what to make of her. She wonder what her connection is to the missing brother that he never met. Nevertheless Jasper introduced himself.

"I'm Meng JunYao, Jun as in Lord and Yao as in handsome," he said. "My surname means dream, but you can call me by Jasper. I'm a son of Zeus."

• Henri:  "I am Henri the luckest person out of everyone here a, it's a pleasure  to met you" he said as he bowed down to her and kissed her hand.
• Haze: "I"m Haze, Emilio's half-sister." She smiled. Haze didn't want to mention Zeus anymore, considering he was the woman's lover at one point.

Sandra listened carefully to Jasper’s introduction. He had a beautiful, oriental Name. She rolled her eyes at Henri‘s quite over-the-top introduction. By the mention of luck, she assumed he was a son of Tyche. She was quite impressed when he kissed her hand. She then listened to Haze, and got surprised. “Oh my gosh!”, she said to Haze and Jasper. “You’re my boy’s brother and sister!”, she was delighted to meet them. “And a son of Tyche, I assume. Nice to meet you all! What brings you here?”, she looked at Genevieve in confusion, not seeing her own son.

• Haze: "Well, you see, Mrs. Crawford, your son..." Haze didn't know how to introduce her intentions without making the mother worry. However, she had to learn more about her half-brother's disappearance. "We can't find Emi, and our fathers sent us an iris message, telling us to do so. That's why we came here to find out more about it."

Sandra was confused. She tried, and succeeded convincingly, to hide her worry. “What do you mean you can’t find him”, she asked. There had been only one time he went missing, and it was for three HOURS, not three NIGHTS. Unsurprisingly, she was more worried than that time. “How long has it been since you last saw him?” Like Haze, she was trying to ask the right questions to discover the most about her son’s disappearance.

• Haze: "About four days ago," she mentioned with frown. Haze hated to be the bearer of bad news, but she didn't have much of a choice. Hopefully, while the two were talking, Henri and Meng could find clues to their objective's whereabouts.

Sandra noticed Haze didn’t like to give bad news. She understood it, as she didn’t like it either. She gave Haze a clam face. “Well“, she said. “The other day he came home to visit me. He seemed pretty happy, and didn’t mention any plans about going anywhere.“

• Haze: “I see. Well, if he really had no intentions of going anywhere...” Haze looked quite confused. Emilio has a good relationship with his mother, so it would mean two things. “One, he didn't think his whereabouts were significant enough, meaning it was a normal day-to-day schedule. Two, It would mean he's forcibly taken. But who would do it, why, and where would he be taken?” The two could also combine together. She looked at Genny, Meng and Henri for help. Perhaps, even Emi's mother could chime in. The daughter of Zeus hoped to see some kind of miracle, sign, or epiphany. “What's Emi's schedule like, Mrs. Crawford?” She was especially curious about his Thursday schedule, as it was the day didn't return to either his house or the cabin.

• Henri: "Adding on to that question, could you at point out where he was heading if you saw" he said just in case Emilio didn't take his day to day schedule.

Sandra listened to Haze carefully. Indeed, Emilio would never lie to her, so Haze’s deductions were correct. “Normally”, she explained. “On Thursdays he doesn’t leave Camp. That day was special, as I was just moving in, and he wanted to help me bring everything.“ She also responded to Henri’s question. “He told me he was going back to Camp”, she explained. “Actually, I accompanied him until he actually left the city. He left through the forest entrance, and he said would come back on Sunday. That is, today.” She didn’t want to think he was forcibly taken or anything, but it was a strong possibility. She wanted to provide all the information she could, so as to help as much as she can, but she felt she wasn’t helping enough.

• Jasper: "So Emilio was last seen at Forest entrance, promising to come back by Sunday..." Jasper summed, "got any idea he might be going? Anything out of the ordinary observed?"
• Genevieve: She looked at the woman, then at Jasper. “When you guys checked the forest, did you see anything?”, she asked. “When you guys did it, I wasn’t there, so...” She didn’t know what else to do to find her friend.
• Haze: "The forest is really big," she mentioned. "We covered the area going towards the New Athens, and nothing seemed out of the blue." She used to remember how people got killed in the forest, so missing anything was possible.
• Henri:"I mean we could always go back and check just in case we see anything." he said 
• Jasper: "Have you guys tried contacting the people from New Athens? Isn't the anyone in charge there to keep the order and stuff?" 
• Genevieve: “That, Jasper, is brilliant!”, she said with a smile. “How DID I NOT think of it?”, she asked. Probably because she doesn’t know how New Athens is run. 
• Haze: Haze nodded at Jasper. His words made perfect sense.
• Jasper: "So that means you guys don't know and never asked?" Jasper concluded, "since it's Athens, they'd have a number of elected bodies right?"
• Henri: "Yes that should br right, now let's get to it we don't want to waste more time now do we."
• Genevieve: She agreed with Henry. They weren’t in the position to waste any more time. She looked at the other Questors, expecting them to come with her.
• Jasper: Jasper bid his farewell to Sandra and followed Genevieve. "You guys know the way to New Athens?"
• Haze: Haze also politely bid Sandra farewell. "We are in New Athens," she laughed at Jasper. Perhaps, he might be too sleepy. It's fine. His idea was nice. "But the Themis house should be in that direction." She and Emilio have been around the area to know. Part of Haze was also curious about Genny, but that could wait for later.
• Genevieve: Genevieve waved bye to her friend’s mother. She followed Haze, as she hasn’t been much to knew Athens, and she doesn’t know where the Themis house is. She didn’t know Haze was curious about her, but she wanted to get to know her friend’s sister a bit better as well.
• Henri: Henri said bye to Sandra and started following the group Themis house.
• Haze: Meanwhile, she also headed towards the Themis house, quite worried about her brother. To ease her mind, she decided to strike up a small conversation. "So Henri, how did you meet Xavier?" She wondered, considering the man didn't look like he'd sell drugs to the teenage son of Tyche.
