Demanding and arrogant, he expects others to treat him highly - seeing himself as superior - and disregards those who aren't important to him in his book. He doesn't regard any mistakes Theodore has made and would deny making any due to his perfectionist complex and blame it on someone else instead. He's also known for being blunt and quite cold and controlling, ordering people around and gets upset when they don't listen to him. The more someone warms up to Theodore the more they realize how rather sensible he is but has a very difficult time showing that he actually cares for people. He is extremely reserved, keeping most of his life under wraps - only boasting about his father's wealth and power - and bottles up emotions since emotions are nothing but weak and petty in his book. A way of showing his care is by helping those he finds his allies, but denies any sort of involvement or help. Theodore is rather intelligent, showing off his intellect on more than one occasion. He has a great love of books of all kinds of genre and refuses to put down a book once he reads it. A good story or new, valuable information of any kind genuinely interests him and keeps what he's learned, either by remembering or writing it down. History On one the 21st of February, 1998 in Hamhung, North Korea, a meek young lady named Sun walked into a large, mansion-like house which belonged to mob boss Seung Kang. The young woman at the desk, Park Seohyeon asked Sun to follow her to Kang's office. She followed Seohyeon into the elevator and into Kang's office where Kang was waiting for her. After a long conversation and a warning about that if Sun betrays the mob, he wouldn't hesitate to kill her, Sun took the job, but not only that, but Kang found Sun very beautiful. 3 weeks after Sun joined, Kang called Sun into his chambers for something very important. Once she arrived, Kang made his move on her and it went out with a bang. The next morning, Kang found Sun getting dressed, but told Kang she was “dying” and needed to leave. Kang wasn't sure if she could trust her, but let her go. Once Kang went into work, he told Park that Sun was no longer with us. Seohyeon simply nodded, not much caring for the news since Sun and Seohyeon weren't exactly close. 9 months later, 21st of October, Kang heard the doorbell ring. Once arriving, he found a small child in a cradle in front of his door, a note attached to the handle of the cradle reading, “Dear Kang, this may come as a shock to you, but my name is Cybele and I'm a goddess. The child you see in the cradle is your son. I do hope you take care of him and treat him well. -Cybele” Exhaling, Kang did as Cybele requested and cared for the child. At age 10, a boy named Seung Hyunki was raised by Kang to be perfect, since they were very wealthy. Hyunki was in private school for young prodigies. Since Hyunki was the son, and heir, of Kang, Kang's soldiers treated Hyunki with utmost respect, and when Kang wasn't around, Executive Park Seohyeon would take care of Hyunki, making sure the boy was well cared for. Despite all that, Hyunki was a spoiled brat, thinking Seohyeon and Kang's soldiers are below him since he was very rich. Age 13, Hyunki was partaking in Physical Education when a giant dog-like creature came abroad the school, Hyunki was afraid of beast while the other children were trying to get the beast to follow them. But, once the creature began havoc, that's when things got chaotic. Hyunki ran far away from the beast while the other teachers helped the other students evacuate the building. Once Hyunki was safe, he called his father's executive to come pick him up. Unfortunately, the creature found him again. Screaming in a panic, he went to run, but the beast clawed at him, leaving his cheek bleeding. Before the being could make another move, it was impaled by a bronze-like weapon, whimpering in excessive pain. Startled and terrified of the weapon, Hyunki ran. Whatever happened to the beast, Hyunki wondered, but, Seohyeon arrived on time, taking Hyunki home to get his injury cleaned up. Once arriving home, Kang scolded his son for being a coward and running away from a fight. Hyunki, tried to hopelessly defend himself onto why, but Kang quickly shut him up, growling that he was right, and always will be. “From now on,” Kang said, “you will not, run, you will fight, like a real man.” After that, his father scheduled fencing lessons so Hyunki would able to defend himself, but, his father would punish him in the worst ways possible to teach Hyunki never to make mistakes, whether it was schooling or fencing, which ended up Hyunki in pain and afraid to make a mistake, never asking for help, thinking that someone helping him is a sign of weakness due to his father's influence. Kang always told his son that “he was perfect beyond compare”, downgrading his own son. Not to mention, turning Hyunki cold and harsh towards anyone, trying to act like his father. When Hyunki was 14, Lee began to walk home, when he noticed a black van suspiciously following him. Keeping calm, he waved it off, but he couldn't shake the feeling he was being watched. Panicked, he quickened his pace, but before he could, a rough hand grabbed him, drugged him, knocking Hyunki unconscious. Hyunki awoke in a dim lighted room, ropes bound his hands together to keep him from escape. A masked man walked in, smiling wickedly. “Don't worry, little boy,” the man growled, “you're safe here… for now.” Hyunki's eyes widen in fear, struggling to break free. As the man left, Hyunki began chewing on his bottom lip until it turned raw. What felt like years were actually weeks. Hyunki's kidnapper would do devastating and sadistic things to the boy just for his pleasure which ended Hyunki in more pain than he can bear. Hyunki just wanted to be freed, not caring who came to his rescue. Finally, Hyunki's father came to get him alright, paying a certain fee to free his son, but his father announced that they would be moving to America, California, at that. Hyunki questioned him, asking him why. His father simply said, “it's better that way.” Hyunki nodded, his father's icy glare shutting him up. Throughout Hyunki's life, his father's and his name were changed. Hyunki's name was now, Theodore Beauregard, and his father, Kingsley Beauregard. Theodore didn't mind very much, he was quite fond of the name. Sadly, Theodore faced large dogs each year as he turned older. But thankfully, be rid of them by running and losing them. Theodore had gotten faster at running, to impress his father. What happened to the dogs, Theodore didn't know. All he knew was he was safe. But, the older he grew, the more the beasts came. His father decided to move again – to New York. As Theodore turned 17, he was talking a stroll with his “friend” he grew less of an annoyance to, Clay, when he heard screaming. Clay and Theodore exchanged looks before going to see what the commotion was. Theodore and Clay were faced with a giant scorpion. Theodore stood frozen as the giant scorpion advanced towards him. Clay stabbed it and sliced at it with a bronze rapier. Theodore barked at Clay to explain to him what was going on. “Listen Theo,” Clay started off hesitantly, “you're a demigod, a son of Cybele. I-I tried to find you sooner, I really did! But, Cybele's instructions were rather vague and confusing, so, I had troubling finding you!! Look, we need you to get you to camp, come on!!” Clay exclaimed. Theodore, in shock into what he was hearing, followed Clay. Once arriving at camp, Clay gave Theodore his Celestial Bronze rapier, saying it was a gift from his mother. He also explained it can turn into a bracelet. The rapier formed into bracelet form. Theodore thanked Clay for the weapon, and walked into camp. Powers Powers of a Child of Cybele: Offensive Children of Cybele have the ability to transform any aspect of earth into any weapon they desire. Only one weapon can be created at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who created it. Children of Cybele can create a small tornado formed of leaves and grass blades. As the floral tornado spins faster, the leaves and grass blades become hard and strong enough to cut an someone. When the tornado's at it's fastest, the child can launch the blades of grass and the leaves at an opponent. Defensive Children of Cybele have the ability to make an opponent feel as if their feet have become hardened and stuck to the ground, making their movements slower.If the user attacks while this power is in effect, it automatically wears off. So the power is purely defensive. Children of Cybele are able to create a earth wall, no larger than 2 to 3 times the size of the user, to temporarily block attacks. Passive Children of Cybele have the innate ability to communicate with all wild animals. Children of Cybele become more sensitive to their surroundings and feel stronger when in mountains, caves and forests. Children of Cybele heal faster when they touch a piece of nature such as a tree or a flower. Supplementary Children of Cybele can telekinetically move elements of nature, such as rocks, plants and vines. The part of nature must be roughly two to four meters away from the child, cannot be 2 or 3 the size of the user. The bigger the element of nature and the more elements moved, the more energy is drained. Children of Cybele can create small boulders roughly two times the size of the child, this can be used for a diversion, hiding, or thrown as a weapon. However the longer the boulder is used, the more energy is drained. Children of Cybele have the innate ability to call upon all nearby wild animals for aid in battling, as well as take control over animals that others are controlling (such as a child of Zeus with birds or a child of Poseidon with horses etc.). The larger the group of animals, the more energy is drained. Children of Cybele can use dirt, mud, rock, stone, etc to teleport anywhere on Earth. Which could be known as Earth-Travel. The user merges with the earth beneath them and reforms elsewhere. The further they travel the more energy it drains. 3 Months After Character is Made Children of Cybele have the ability to create quicksand pits around a small area for a short time, the larger the quicksand pit is, the more energy is drained. 6 Months After Character is Made Children of Cybele can create a powerful quake affecting everything within 10 meters of them. The power of the quake can be scaled depending on how long the user wants it to last. A quake that just knocks the opponent over may last 20 seconds. A quake that throws them a few feet in the air may last 5. Finally, the whole quake may be focused into a single shock-wave with the power to bounce a car a half meter or so. This requires several moments of focus beforehand, lasts only a few seconds, and can only be used once every few hours. During the quake, the user is immobile. The user is quite drained after the earthquake subsides. 9 Months After Character is Made Children of Cybele have the ability to morph into a lion/lioness for a short time. They can turn into either a full lion or a humanoid cat form. In the human/lion form, they are twice as faster and stronger than before. Their senses are also quite sharper as well. They also tend to be more violent and volatile in this state. Once the transformation ends, the user is extremely drained. Using the hybrid form is more draining rather than the full lion form. They will not be able to move and could possibly faint. Traits Children of Cybele typically love animals and act protective of them. Becoming vegetarians and taking on many pets are common actions for her children. Children of Cybele tend to excel at rock climbing, mountain climbing, etc. Children of Cybele normally love being outside and enjoying what nature has to offer. Even to the point where they possess an intense love and overprotective spirit over nature.
