In the past, we have had issues because the behavioral expectations we have for staff are not currently clearly defined in our Wikia's policy. I am proposing that we add an official code of conduct that all members of the admin team must review & follow. This was created with the intention of securing the Wiki as a safe place for all users and to officially establish what our community expects from our staff. Upon approval, the following will be added into CHBRP Wikia's official policy:

Proposed Code of Conduct

As members of the CHBRPW Admin Team, it’s important that we exhibit professionalism and understand that we are given positions of power which must be used as ethically as possible and with the community’s best interests at mind. By agreeing to become a member of the Admin Team, you will be expected to abide by these seven guidelines:


  1. Members of the Admin Team are expected to know and follow the previously agreed on behavioural policies at all times. Failure to do so will be met with reprimands and possible demotion if the offence is major enough.

  2. Members of the Admin Team are expected to refrain from using their additional powers for personal gain. Additional powers are given with the expectation that the staff will use them fairly and responsibly.

  3. Members of the Admin Team must acknowledge that conflict is inevitable in such a varied group of people. However, it is their responsibility to become leaders of the community and respond to said conflict - trying to minimise any hurt or offence that may have occurred.

  4. It is the responsibility of members of the Admin Team to create a safe and fun environment for all users - ensuring all users are treated with respect while also still enjoying the freedom of roleplay.

  5. Members of the Admin Team should avoid creating conflict on Camp-Half Blood Roleplay Wikia's Discord server and attempt to remain empathetic and professional when discussing sensitive issues (e.g. politics, religion, mental health).

  6. Matters discussed in the private Admin Server should remain confidential and only be discussed in the server or in DMs with other Admin Team members.

  7. Members of the Admin Team must acknowledge that any serious violation of the above guidelines may be met with disciplinary action, just like any regular user. These sanctions are, but not limited to: Verbal Warnings, Demotion votes, Bans, Time-outs or anything else deemed necessary by the department heads.
