Okay, so for a while now, a good weight has been laid on a small portion of the administration team, and they deserve to be recognized. Bach, Flame, Float, and Ruby have been contributing intensely to the Wiki, while other members administration are displaying minimal or barely any effort to back up there positions. With that said, few users can't be doing everything, especially when there's multiple people that could be contributing.
I'm proposing a policy to where a member of administration can only go two weeks without any department edits, unless he or she is officially inactive. by department edits I don't mean role plays, or uploading images for your latest character, or making a claim for yourself, etc. etc. etc. As order of positions go down, bureaucrats should be executing the most contribution in their department, then administrators, lastly, rollbacks. An adequate amount of department edits (edits that contribute to the department the user is taking part in) for a rollback would be 3 to 7 a week, of course, an administrator should do more than a rollback, 15 to 20 department edits for administrators would be ideal, and bureaucrats 20 to 45 department edits. Bureaucrats should also be in chat helping others, as well as making sure their department members are backing up their position as a rollback or administrator, and pushing their projects and tasks onto their department members and users of the Wiki.
Of course life often gets in the way, which is why we are suggesting this as weekly and not daily, and always keep us informed, most people know ahead of time they are too busy to be on the wiki editing, but if you are here role playing actively every day, you have time to do department edits, no excuses.
Also, I'd like to note, in the case of running an activity, such as User:Flamefang is doing with Lilith's Letter, that would count as department edits for him, because he is not rp'ing for his own amusement, the activity is for the good of the wiki and to keep the wiki with active events.
To elaborate what each department should be doing, if you are still unsure, We'll sort it out.
I tried to be as open as possible with the wording so there is wiggle room, but too many people roleplay all the time, daily going days to weeks between any real department type edits. If you see any areas you would like clarified more before voting, please let me know
I'm glad to see something like this finally being proposed. Dealing with members of the administration slacking has been a concern for a very long time and hopefully these measures can put an end to that problem.
