This is just one of those things I never understood. Nymphs and automatons don't become more powerful if they join the BC. They still keep all the powers they would have if they were at camp. So there really is no reason why they should be considered more powerful than nymphs or automatons at camp. Whether in the Broken Covenant or at Camp Halfblood minor characters are still less powerful than demigods/demititans and should be considered minor regardless if they chose to be at Camp or join the Broken Covenant.
