So, ages ago, we made a rough limit of how many different "obvious" (obvious being either knowing the identity of the models, or models whose faces are clearly visible, using images where you can't see the models face or head don't count in this) models a person can use for one character, at roughly 3 to 5 (some who were here at the time may remember it came about because a user was using nearly 25+ distinctly different images/models for one character). However, at the time the rough number was made, we had fewer users, fewer characters on the wiki and at the time many of the users were only using anime/tektek/drawn/type images versus real models.

However, now with the larger number of characters, and more users using real models, I feel that number is a bit high and unfair, as it's also becoming increasingly harder for some users to find models they'd like to use that aren't' in use. Now I realise most on the wiki have become good about only using one model (especially when there are multiple poses), but that isn't the case with all, and I'd prefer to address this now and have an official stand on it.

Note: This would mean distinct model, so models you can't see the face or head, wouldn't count)

Also, I should note, using clearly younger images to show what they looked like as little kids, shouldn't count in the limit.

Personally I'm inclined to vote for as few models as possible, since I don't like their inclusion very much and see it as mostly unnecessary, however seeing as most do I think it's in the wiki's best interest that I vote with the majority.

Forget the above statement, I was under the impression that "model" was being used as a term for famous people in general, not just photographs. My vote remains the same however.

as much as i hate to believe it, people do shit like give 10 models for a char. one user in particular comes to mind...
