Ok, so here's the thing, there's quite a bit of controversey around some of the types of nymphs that have been created, they aren't necesarily unreasonable, but they aren't necesarily a "specific" thing in nature, and nymphs are supposed to be "nature" spirits. |

'''Option #2:''' So we know that at one point, the muses early on weren't "gods" and they encompassed things like music and such, so what if we separate nymphs, call anything that has a specific thing in nature, a nymph (tree, rain, lightning, etc), and anything that is more of an emotion, or something that, while it may occur in nature, isn't a specific thing, like music or communication, we call "spirits". No more powerful than nymphs, sort of like servants to the gods and goddesses whose scope encompasses those things. |

I realise for the most part, this issue is just semantics, but it has come up in various discussions I've had, people who don't feel that some of the more "emotional" or other vaiours new "nymph" types that have sprouted up, should count as nymphs (nature spirits). This will put an end to that issue, if it's voted to just keep things as they are, great, any time the argument comes up, we just say, look we voted on it, it is the way it is, so stfu (xD). so while some reading this, may feel it is a very minor issue and not worth a vote, maybe so, but I'm sick of hearing the discussion and arguments about it, even if they aren't that often.
I feel like it should be left the way it is because "Lampades" arent anything in nature but in myths they ARE nymphs. I feel like satyrs and centaurs are more like "spirits"... 23:14, June 22, 2012 (UTC)Hgsanti
Yet, it wouldn't be the first time we made something that wasn't from the myths or that controversed it. Spirits could have more options (and more work too >.<) and it could probably bring more fun things to the wiki. We accept the love we think we deserve ⋆ Bloom ⋆ 23:18, June 22, 2012 (UTC)
Actually technically they are nymphs of the "underworld", which one could argue is in nature, as things do live under the ground, and is something that can be "touched", where as things like "music" or "revenge" are not things that can be touched, or physically found in nature.
@Bloom Valid point Starships were Meant to fly!!! 23:20, June 22, 2012 (UTC)hgsanti
I would also like to point that under this ruling, male "nymphs" would be also called nymphs, kind of like how we call male "witches" witches too.
