Ok, so here's the thing, we are having constant issues pop up with sharing models, as far as how many characters are sharing the same model, some give permission, some don't, and it's really hard to keep track of. So we are going to have an official stance on this to go by from here on out, the question is what stance, now personally I think some change needs to be made, because the cluster f*** it is now is insane to keep track of, I mean at one point 5 users were sharing ONE MODEL. I mean me personally I find it tacky and stupid to have two chars share a model that aren't twins, I mean just because it's a slightly different pose or they have different clothes on, doesn't suddenly miraculously make them a different model, but the real question is, the consensus.

Voting
Please think carefully before making a choice.... if you aren't sure, it's better not to vote at all then to go with what seems popular.
Option 1 - Nothing Changes (+0)
As it states, we keep the cluster f*** it may be a cluster f*** but change is scary and if you vote this it means you either don't realise how big a pain it is to keep track of the models, or you just don't care.
Option 2 - Some Tweaks (+2)
A single model may never be used by more than two characters PERIOD. The original owner retains the rights to give permission to whomever. If a user sends a char away, kills them, or the user leaves, the two character rule still applies as long as the page is not deleted from the wiki, however, if a user wishes to share a model of a user that's long gone that isn't in use by any one else, permission can be skipped. If a single user is using the same model for two of their characters, then no one else may use, that counts as the two character rule. Also, if a user is using multiple models, they lose the rights to giving permission or sharing models.

- sounds like a fair deal... cuz the major change one could screw people over in a big way :/ Hydro " We all have secrets. The ones we keep... and the ones that are kept from us." 18:56, November 29, 2013 (UTC) [[Special:EditCount/Hydrocarbon1997|Special:EditCount/Hydrocarbon1997]]
Option 3 - Major Change (+1)
As characters are unique, and the image is supposed to be precisely what your character looks like (as, if they don't precisely look like the model you're using, then why use them to begin with), unless they are twins, no models may ever be shared, ever. The only exception ever can be if a char is dead or never coming back and you have the owner's permission OR if the user left, however you run the risk of them coming back and us running into a model issue, so you should be REALLY sure they have been gone for awhile before jumping on the model.

Comments
For now I'm abstaining from voting, I personally would probably vote for option 3, but, at the very least I think option 2 is at least a reasonable compromise so I'm going to wait to vote to see what others feel or any comments made that makes may lead to an amendment of an option.
